Here's what you're agreeing to:

• You must be 18+ to use MentorDash

• Mentors are independent professionals, not MentorDash employees

• We don't provide medical, legal, therapeutic, or financial advice

• All payments go through our platform—no off-platform deals allowed

• Refunds are handled case-by-case (see details below)

• Sessions can be cancelled/rescheduled with notice (see policy below)

• Disputes go to binding arbitration in Texas, not court

• We can update these terms anytime

SECTION 1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the MentorDash Platform. By creating an account, accessing the Platform, or using any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all incorporated policies.

SECTION 2. DEFINITIONS
“Platform” refers to MentorDash’s website, tools, software, scheduling system, payment system, and connected services.
“User” refers to any individual using the Platform.
“Mentor” refers to independent contractors providing mentorship services.
“Mentee” refers to individuals receiving guidance.
“Session” refers to any paid or unpaid mentorship interaction.

SECTION 3. ELIGIBILITY
Users must be at least eighteen (18) years old. MentorDash does not permit minors. Users must have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

SECTION 4. PLATFORM ROLE
MentorDash provides a technology platform enabling Users to connect. MentorDash is not a party to interactions between Mentors and Mentees and does not supervise or verify Mentor guidance.

SECTION 5. USER ACCOUNTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Users must:

• Provide accurate registration information

• Maintain account confidentiality

• Not engage in harassment, abuse, or harmful actions

• Not attempt to circumvent Platform payments

• Not solicit off-platform interactions
  MentorDash may investigate or terminate accounts for violations.

SECTION 6. PAYMENTS & FEES
All payments must be made through MentorDash. Mentors set or accept rates subject to platform policies. MentorDash may charge processing fees. Refunds, if any, are issued at MentorDash’s sole discretion.

REFUND POLICY
All session payments are final. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis for:

• Technical failures that prevent session completion

• Mentor no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled session time

• Demonstrable quality or conduct issues reported within 48 hours of session completion
  Refunds are NOT granted for:

• Change of mind after session completion

• Disagreement with mentor advice, guidance, or coaching style

• Personal scheduling conflicts or mentee no-shows

• Requests made more than 7 days after session completion

  
  

  
  

  CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

  Mentee Cancellations:

• Cancel or reschedule 24+ hours before session: Full credit applied toward future session

• Cancel or reschedule 12-24 hours before session: 50% credit applied toward future session

• Cancel or reschedule less than 12 hours before session: No refund or credit

• No-show without notice: No refund or credit
  Mentor Cancellations:

• Mentors must provide 24+ hours notice for cancellations when possible

• Emergency mentor cancellations result in full mentee refund or rescheduling

• Repeated mentor cancellations may result in mentor suspension or removal

MentorDash facilitates rescheduling through the Platform but is not liable for scheduling conflicts, missed sessions, or communication issues between parties.
Final refund decisions are made at MentorDash's sole discretion. Disputed charges or chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension pending resolution.

SECTION 7. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Users may not:

• Engage in illegal activity

• Provide or seek medical, legal, tax, or investment advice

• Post harmful, infringing, or deceptive content

• Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or duplicate the Platform

• Circumvent safety controls or fraud-detection systems

SECTION 8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, trademarks, algorithms, and systems on the Platform belong exclusively to MentorDash. Users may not use Platform IP without written permission. User-generated content is licensed to MentorDash for operational use.

SECTION 9. PRIVACY & DATA PROCESSING
Users consent to MentorDash’s Privacy Policy and data-handling practices. Data may be used for account operations, security, analytics, compliance, and platform improvements.

SECTION 10. DISCLAIMERS
The Platform is provided “as-is” and “as available.” MentorDash makes no warranties regarding:

• Results from mentorship

• Platform uptime or error-free performance

• Accuracy of mentor guidance

• Users accept all risks associated with their interactions.

  
  

SECTION 11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
MentorDash’s total liability shall not exceed the greater of:
(1) Fifty dollars ($50), or
(2) The amount paid by the User in the last thirty (30) days.
MentorDash is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

SECTION 12. USER SAFETY
Users must act responsibly and respectfully. Abuse, threats, harassment, or unsafe behavior may result in suspension or termination. Users must report violations promptly.

SECTION 13. INDEMNIFICATION
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless MentorDash from claims arising from:

• User actions or omissions

• Violations of these Terms

• Interactions with other Users

• Misuse of the Platform

SECTION 14. TERMINATION
MentorDash may modify, suspend, or terminate access at any time. MentorDash is not required to provide an explanation. Sections relating to IP, liability, arbitration, and indemnification survive termination.

SECTION 15. ARBITRATION & CLASS-ACTION WAIVER
Users agree to binding arbitration in Denton County, Texas. No class, collective, or representative actions are permitted. Users waive the right to a jury trial.

SECTION 16. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
MentorDash may update these Terms at any time. Continued Platform use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

SECTION 17. MISCELLANEOUS
These Terms constitute the entire agreement. Notices may be electronic. Texas law governs these Terms. Invalid provisions do not affect the remainder. MentorDash’s failure to enforce any provision does not waive enforcement rights.
